Our Story

How It All Began... Noor just wanted her son to not squint.

Pepper is built and run by Noor, a mother from Lahore who one day looked at her son Eesa squinting in the sun and thought: he needs sunglasses. Simple enough. Except it wasn't. Because finding UV-certified kids sunglasses in Pakistan — ones that actually protected little eyes AND didn't look like a five-rupee toy from Anarkali — turned out to be basically impossible.

So Noor did what mothers do. She figured it out herself.

The problem was obvious. Nobody was solving it.

Abroad, the market for kids eyewear is massive. UV400 certified, polarised, flexible, stylish — you name it. Here in Pakistan? Nothing. Or worse: cheap plastic frames with zero UV protection sold like they're the real thing.

Noor wasn't looking to start a brand. She was looking for sunglasses for Eesa. The brand came later, when she realised every Pakistani parent was asking the same question and coming up empty.

So she built Pepper.

Named after the kind of kid who has personality to spare. Every pair is UV400 certified — meaning real protection from both UVA and UVB rays, the kind that actually matters under the Pakistani sun. And because Eesa wasn't going to wear something boring, every pair is designed to look genuinely cool on a little face.

We are not a big company. We are one mother, one mission, and a very opinionated toddler as our unofficial quality control department.

Built for kids. Which means built for chaos.

Let's be honest. Kids are not gentle. They sit on things, throw things, chew things, and somehow lose things in a room with three objects in it.

We designed Pepper for exactly that kid.

Every pair is made from TR and TPEE, two materials used in industries where things absolutely cannot break. TR (Trivex Rubber) gives the frames their signature flex, springing back to shape no matter how badly they get bent. TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyether Ester Elastomer) adds a layer of impact resistance that standard plastic frames simply cannot match. Lightweight without feeling cheap. Flexible without snapping. Tough enough to survive the kind of daily abuse only a toddler can deliver.

Bend them. Drop them. Sit on them. They come back.

We are not saying they are indestructible. We are saying they come pretty close.

Why does this actually matter?

Most parents don't know that children's eyes absorb significantly more UV radiation than adult eyes. The damage is cumulative and it builds silently over years. Sunscreen on skin has become second nature for most of us. Eye protection for kids? Still an afterthought.

Pepper exists to change that. One pair at a time. Starting right here in Pakistan.

The Pepper Guarantee. Because kids will be kids.

Here is our promise, in plain language:

If your child's Pepper sunglasses are broken or lost within 6 months of purchase, you get a replacement pair at 50% off. No long forms. No fine print. No "sorry, that's not covered."

Broken? 50% off a new pair.
Lost? Still 50% off a new pair.

Because we know how this goes. You did not lose them. Eesa did. And you should not have to pay full price for that.

Just reach out to us within 6 months of your order date and we will sort it out.

What we promise you, always:

Every pair is UV400 certified. Not "UV protected." Not "sun-safe." UV400 — the actual standard that blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. No exceptions.

TR and TPEE frames only. Because your child deserves better than cheap plastic that snaps on day three.

We'll make it right. If it doesn't fit, doesn't hold up, or Eesa — the world's toughest tester — wouldn't approve of it, we want to know.

No fluff. We'll always tell you exactly what you're buying and why it matters for your child's eyes.

Thank you for being here.

Seriously. Every order means a Pakistani child's eyes are protected, and that another parent didn't have to go through the frustration Noor went through. We're just getting started and we're glad you found us early.
